His new family was eager to provide the best support possible, but faced a challenge. His therapist, with whom he had built a deep and trusting relationship, was back in Corpus Christi. Changing providers wasn’t an option he felt comfortable with, and his family knew the importance of consistency in his mental health journey.
Thanks to Heart Galleries of Texas Post-Adoption funds, they didn’t have to choose between stability and accessibility. These funds helped offset travel costs so he could return to Corpus for sessions, as well as cover co-pays and out-of-pocket expenses that would have otherwise been a burden. With this support, the family could focus on what truly mattered—his well-being.
