A large part of our work centers on providing post-permanency support for children and families in Texas. In order to best understand the needs of children and families, our team conducted a needs assessment of post-permanency services across the state.
In Spring 2024, we developed two online surveys: one for caregivers and one for child welfare professionals. A total of 344 caregivers and 144 professionals completed the surveys. Check out findings from your region on the Dashboard!
We shared data from this study with regional Heart Galleries, and we’ll use this information to address gaps in post-permanency resources and supports.
