Heart Gallery of Texas

Generation of happy family walking in park, garden and summer nature outdoors to relax, bonding during quality time. Black people with grandparents, parents and children in love, care and support.

In partnership with the Moritz Center for Societal Impact at the University of Texas Austin, the Texas Center for Child and Family Studies (the Center) has launched a post-adoption grant request for proposals. The Center seeks applications for the purpose of establishing or sustaining post-adoption and post-permanency supports throughout Texas.

The Heart Galleries of Texas project is focused on strengthening heart gallery programs as tools for positive permanency in communities by developing strong and thriving local heart galleries and supporting children and families post-adoption and post-permanency. The project received funding in the 89th Legislative Session.

To be considered for funding, your organization must be connected with your regional Heart Gallery. If that connection hasn’t been made yet, we encourage you to reach out using this contact list. We look forward to building strong partnerships together through our post-adoption grants.

The Post-Adoption Grant RFA is open July 1 – July 31, 2025.
